Angela Klipsch, MS

Research Coordinator

Angela Klipsch, M.S., is the research coordinator for the Digital Exploration of Psychotherapy (DEPTH) project and works closely with Dr. Atkins on his research developing machine learning and spoken language technologies to support counselor training, supervision, and quality assurance.  She helps coordinate all aspects of this program of research, coordinating a large multisite, multidisciplinary research team comprising psychologists, engineers, designers, and computer scientists.  Angela has also assisted other BRiTE investigators with study protocol development, IRB, project reporting, and proposal development. 


Prior to joining the BRiTE Center, Angela worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she managed the administration and data analysis of the VA’s national ethics survey. Angela has also worked with the University of Florida on studies designed to help improve health self-management and reduce the incidence and consequences of chronic disease among non-elderly adults with behavioral health (mental health and substance abuse) diagnoses.
