M-Healer

M-Healer is a digital toolkit designed to train traditional faith healers working in prayer camps in Ghana to deliver psychosocial interventions to people with mental illness and help reduce negative outcomes and human rights abuses in the camps. M-Healer was developed in partnership with research collaborators in Ghana and informed by co-design sessions with healers at the prayer camps. It contains 4 skills modules for healers: Peaceful, Relax, Skills, and Human Rights, and a page where healers can check in about their patients’ symptoms and wellbeing.

M-Healer is a research app that is used for BRiTE Center research studies.
