Dr. Hallgren is an associate professor and clinical psychologist affiliated with UW and Harborview Medical Center. His broad research and clinical interests involve understanding how and why people recover from addictive behaviors and mental health disorders. His work aims to help develop, test and disseminate tools that  an assist patients, clinicians, researchers and health care systems facilitate more effective and efficient addiction and mental health recovery.
