Nancy Lau, PhD, is a Principal Investigator at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute. Her psycho-oncology research program focuses on improving mental health outcomes and quality of life for Adolescents and Young Adults (AYAs) with cancer. Her research leverages technological advances to improve availability and access to evidence-based psychosocial care via mHealth delivery platforms. She is currently testing the feasibility, acceptability, and efficacy of a smartphone-based mental health intervention for AYAs with cancer in a randomized trial funded by the NIH/NCI.
